At The Hen Den of Oriental, we hatch Silkies and Showgirls throughout the year as space and breeding schedules allow.
Because hatch rates, chick development, and customer reservations can vary, we no longer publish specific hatch dates on our website.
If you're interested in adding Silkies or Showgirls to your flock, we encourage you to join our Chick Waitlist. Customers on our waitlist are contacted first when chicks become available.
Our chicks are offered on a first-contacted, first-served basis, and availability can change quickly.

All chicks are hatched and raised here on our family farm in Pamlico County, North Carolina, with daily hands-on care, clean housing, and a strong focus on healthy, friendly birds.
